My artistic practice explores the transformation of textiles, found objects, and materials marked by time and use. Bearing traces of their histories and former contexts, these materials become the starting point for new sculptural and narrative constellations. Through a slow, hands-on process, I bring together elements of diverse origins, transforming their material and associative qualities. Cracks, discoloration, and signs of use are deliberately preserved as carriers of memory and lived experience. Collecting, combining, and reworking materials becomes a way of exploring how objects reflect social structures, hold individual and collective histories, and acquire new meanings through transformation. My work also reflects on the social expectations, structures, and narratives that shape lived experience, particularly those directed at women. From my perspective as an artist, a woman, and an individual, I examine how external influences are absorbed, negotiated, and transformed. Working across textile art, assemblage, and object-making, I bring these reflections into dialogue with material presence and memory, creating works that open up new ways of seeing familiar things and questioning what is taken for granted.Ausstellungen
